Imogen is a Certified Athletic Therapist and former competitive dancer from Hespeler. She graduated from Concordia University’s Athletic Therapy program in 2015 and is certified both in Canada and the USA. Imogen is the team therapist for the Waterloo Region Predators senior varsity football team and concurrently works out of Fullbody Function Chiropractic for her clinical work. Keeping in line with her love of dance, Imogen also enjoys treating dancers backstage for Ballet Jorgen when they tour locally.
Imogen specializes in the adolescent athlete and has many years of experience working with various teams at many different levels. Her main sports are football and rugby, but she can be seen working with athletes all over Waterloo Region, be it high school wrestling, University sports, or community sporting events. She is always interested in working with new sports, so if you have anything that you need coverage for, give her a call!
Imogen is especially interested in injury prevention through posture correction, core strengthening, and ensuring proper techniques for movement. She plans to increase her knowledge in this domain throughout her career in order to better serve her clients.
For 10 years, Imogen was a competitive dancer, and fully understands what each athlete goes through when an injury is holding them back from their full potential. In her spare time, she enjoys riding her bike, cross country skiing, and volunteering with her local youth group. In the future, she would like to take up dancing again, but for now, she wants to focus on helping others get back to doing what they love sooner.
